About the Magazine

Being Anchored is a bi-monthly digital magazine celebrating faith, culture, and lifestyle. Created for Black women of all ages, it blends faith-inspired stories that encourage intentional living and spiritual growth.

​

Professionally designed and rich with original content, Being Anchored serves a niche audience passionate about faith-based living and creativity.

Audience & Readership

Demographics:

  • Primarily women ages 30+

  • Faith-driven and purpose-led

  • Black women seeking encouragement in their faith, lifestyle, wellness, home décor, and spiritual growth

Reach & Engagement:

  • The launch of our premier issue marks an exciting beginning. To expand our reach, we’re partnering with Praise 102.5, a leading syndicated gospel radio station and aligned with the heartbeat of our target audience. 

  • Throughout December 2025, Being Anchored will air thirty-five 30-second radio spots during premium listening hours (6 AM– 7 PM), along with select evening and weekend segments (7 PM–11 PM).

  • In addition, our social media presence and official website will launch in October 2025, creating a dynamic platform for engagement, inspiration, and connection

  • Double Page Spread – $300.00 (All ads are full color with bleed.)

  • Full Page – $150.00

  • Half Page – $75.00

How to submit

What We Publish

We share content that uplifts, inspires, and speaks to the lives of Black women of faith. Submissions should reflect our core values of faith, belonging, and creativity and align with our passion for the Christian faith in Almighty Jesus Christ and intentional living.

Opportunities & Fees

  • Cover Feature: $100

  • Faith & Fashion Unfold: $75

  • If approved, you’ll receive an interview questionnaire and a request for 4–6 high-resolution professional photos of you.

  • Entrepreneurs:  Complete the Entrepreneur Information Form once selected.

  • Keepsake Copies (optional):

    • Standard printed copy: $45.00 each (price varies based on number of pages)

    • Frameable cover (8x10 glossy on cardstock): $25.00 each
      Select your preference on the request form included in your approval email. Copies are mailed when your issue is published.

You’re welcome to reapply in future cycles, pending availability.

  • A short bio (and business description, if applicable)

  • 3 high-resolution images that best represent your brand/business

  • Links to your website, portfolio, or social media (if applicable)

  • PNG file of your logo (for advertising)

  • Digitally signed Release Statement

  • Digitally signed Submission Form

  • Any Additional Request Forms (if applicable)

Deadlines & Payment

  • Refer to the Editorial Calendar for submission due dates.

  • Payments are made via the Submission Forms.

Response Time
We respond to all submissions within two weeks of the submission deadline.
